Butterball || LUSH

Hey Guys!
I just recently payed a visit to 'Lush' whilst I was christmas shopping. While I was there I felt the need to buy myself a bath bomb. I had previously read about the butterball bath bomb and had heard nothing but amazing words, so I decided to give it a try myself. Even though the bath bomb doesn't look like much from the outside, it is amazing in the inside. This bath bomb fizzes away and leaves little chunks of cocoa butter which melt into your bath. After using the butterball my skin was extremely soft. This post is not sponsored and I honestly love the butterball and highly recommend it!

I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know which 'Lush' products you recommend!

Summer Formal Playsuit || OOTD

Hey Guys!
Today I went to a party which was formal dress and considering the hot weather I wore this Playsuit. This exotic floral Forever New playsuit is super cute and quite flattering as it has an open back! I love to wear this in the summer as it's so comfortable. I paired this with these Forever New sandals which really gave the outfit more of a dressy feel. I just recently bought this hat from Rubi shoes which is so flattering and can give almost any outfit a more casual summery look.

Let me know in the comments below if you liked this posts!

Goals || FREE PRINTABLE

Hey Guys!
Sorry I haven't been around these past few weeks. I just completed my last exams for the year and I'm now a free women! No school for two whole months! Part of me is absolutely thrilled but a very small part of me is thinking 'what are you going to do with yourself?'! I know that I have to start somewhere and my 'somewhere' starts with goals.

I personally think it's really good to set goals for yourself. Having something to work towards always brings a bit more excitement and can end up being quite rewarding after having achieved something. With the new year around the corner I know that the majority of people will start setting new years resolutions that will end up being put to the side. But the goals that end up being successful are the goals that are set in realistic circumstances.

So this Summer I'm going to set some fun, challenging yet realistic goals for myself. Hopefully this will give me something (productive) to do! I made a 'My Goals' list that I know I will be using a lot. I feel that everything is set in concrete once I write it down (which in this case is a good thing). I made these goal printables and I thought that they were so cute that I had to share them with you! They aren't in colour so I got creative and decorated mine.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know in the comments down below if you'd like to see more posts like this.

Liebster Award!

Hey Guys!
Just recently the lovely Emily from Cotton and Candie and Sophie from It's a Saunders Thing nominated me for the Liebster award! Thank you very much Emily and Sophie for the nominations! I won't ramble on for too long as I know that this is going to be a long post but the Liebster award tag is a way of discovering new blogs and to help smaller blogs get more followers!

Here are the rules:

1. Thank the person/people who nominated you and link their blog in your post ^ as above.
2. Display a picture of the Liebster award in your post, you can copy and paste this one if you like.
3. Answer the 11 questions given to you by the person/people who nominated you.
4. Provide 11 random facts about you.
5. Nominate 5-11 blogs who have less than 200 followers - this is to help out other new bloggers trying to get out there!
6. Make up your own 11 questions for the bloggers you nominate to answer.
7. List the rules in your post so they know what's the Liebster award means.
8. Don't forget to let the people you nominated know that they've been nominated and send them a link to your blog so they can get the information.

Here are the questions that Emily asked me:
1. What is the story behind your blog name?
I was looking for something original that reflected my personality. I love kaleidoscopes and all things colourful and I also love the colour of the gemstone Jade so that was a little something I came up with. But I must admit I am currently going through some re-thinking for my blog name. Let me know what you think about this down below.
2. What would you have as your very last meal including a drink?
I would probably have a nice bowl of my Mum's home made pasta with a peach iced tea
3. What can you not leave the house without besides your phone and keys?
My sunnies or my wallet
4. Who inspires your style the most?
I have a very bohemian inspired style so I am absolutely in love with the way Mimi Elashiry dresses!
5. What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure would have to be chai lattes. I love a good chai latte!
6. What have you achieved which you are proud of?
I just got a high mark on my piano exam which I am proud of!
7. What would you tell your younger self?
Make the most of every moment you get, because before you know it everything will be over.
8. Current beauty favourite?
My current beauty favourite is the Maybelline BB cream
9. What is your favourite quote?
My favourite quote is 'Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened'
10. What made you start blogging?
I started blogging to share my ideas and to be apart of this wonderful community!
11. If you could repeat one day in your life which would it be?
This is a very good and hard question. I have no idea haha

Here are the questions that Sophie asked me:
1. Who is your blog inspiration?
I'm inspired all the time by many blogs but my main inspirations are either Zoella or A Pair & a Spare
2. If you could change your hair for one day, what would you want to do?
I would probably get some rad dreadlocks considering the fact it's only for one day. If it was for more than a day I'd probably re think this as I know that it's hard to keep your hair clean and hygienic with dreads.
3. What was the best concert or gig you've ever been to?
I loved Guy Sebastian! But I honestly haven't been to many gigs and I'd love to say something a bit more interesting.

A new film camera!
7. What product would you recommend most to people?
The Rimmel Wake me up foundation. It's a great quality product!

I love saying 'nostalgic' and 'sophisticated' but there are honestly far too many words to list
9. Last book you read?
The last book I read was John Green's 'Looking for Alaska' and it was brilliant!
10. What advice would you give to people wanting to start a blog?
Write about what makes you happy and don't worry about the number of people reading your blog.

October Favourites

Hello Everyone!
Over the lovely month of October there have been a few products and objects which have made my life a whole lot easier or have made me feel particularly happy. So I decided to share my thoughts on these products with you and hopefully give you some inspiration or advice.
Hope you enjoy!

Firstly, I’ve been loving the Batiste Dry Shampoo a whole lot this month. It has been really handy and effective especially when I let my hair go without a wash for a bit too long. It’s also a great texturising tool and smells really good!
Another which has been very useful for me and I know that it’s been a useful product for many others for a very long time is the Lucas’ Pawpaw Ointment. This product has been in my life for a very long time, but just recently my lips have been particularly dry and the Pawpaw Ointment has helped me so much. I like to call it a bit of a life saver!
Taylor Swift’s Wonderstruck has been my go to fragrance this month. It just has a really nice scent which isn’t too over powering but is a bit different and more edgy compared to the other fragrances I’ve stuck with in the past.

Something that has managed to keep me entertained this month is the latest edition of the Frankie Magazine. It contains of various articles on Fashion, Photography, Art, Travel, Music, Craft and much more. I have a strong passion for all of the topics listed above so this would have to be my favourite magazine at the moment.
The most exciting thing I’m writing about tonight (well I at least think it is) would have to be my new Cactus!!! I named him ‘Bruce’ and I love him so much! If you didn’t already know I have a weird love for cacti and succulents (in fact I often get the nickname ‘Cactus’) and have started to create a little collection of my own on my window sill. So when my Dad brought Bruce home for me from a market and I was absolutely over the moon.

Last but not least, I’d like to share with you these little beauties! Even though I don’t really consider these as a monthly favourite I just thought I’d share them with you because they’re so cute. These Crispy Creams are for Halloween and on the packet it said ‘Crispy Screams‘ which I thought was really cute. These doughnuts put me in a festive mood and were really yummy!
(I've just realised that somehow I've managed to include doughnuts into my last two posts haha!)

Anyway, I just thought I’d share those thoughts and things with you! I hope you liked this post and I’d love to here down below what products you have been loving this month!

Food-inspo

Just recently I went out to this little cafe and got some food inspiration. The little doughnuts were so cute I just couldn't say no.
I got some pretty cool pictures and I'm sorry in advance for making you hungry!

Hello Spring || OOTD

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of Autumn and Fall posts but Spring, not so much. Where I live it’s officially Spring and even though this post is a little belated, I’m super excited! To celebrate that fact that Summer is only a season away I decided to treat myself to a little Spring time shop!

I bought some lovely pool side shoes from Cotton on Body which I feel will go well with so many outfits and I really did need a pair of summer shoes as for some reason I don’t really have many. I also bought a simple pink Roxy beanie. I feel I will wear this quite a lot during Spring on those cooler days. Beanies are a great way to cover up your hair. I can get a bit lazy and let my hair go a few more days than it should without a wash so I like to cover it all up with a beanie.

The last item I bought myself was a little floral patterned kimono from Factorie. This caught my eye the minute I walked into Factorie and it was like love at first sight, I had to have it. The bright tones are perfect for spring and I just couldn’t help myself. I paired this piece with simple black jeans and a white top. I topped the look off with my much loved sunnies. My new purchases have made me feel very excited of whats to come!

My Beauty Essentials

I have to admit, I’m not one to wear makeup on a daily basis. But I do enjoy applying something to my face when going out for dinner or even when going into town for a little retail therapy. Here are a few of my current favourites which I have been using quite a bit.

If my face is looking a bit spotty or uneven I’ll usually apply a little bit of the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream to make my skin look smooth. It also leaves my skin feeling nice and moisturised.

The Clinique Powder (which I believe was special edition) is a perfect match to my skin tone and does a great job of setting the BB cream with a matte finish. The Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette comes with three very flattering colours. I especially like the shimmery highlighter which is what I’ve been using quite a bit!

I’ve been using the Natio Blusher for contouring, putting it in the hollows of my cheeks. Please excuse dirty packaging as it is a product I’ve had for quite a while. The brush I’ve been using to apply most of my makeup is a MAC dupe. When I can be bothered to put mascara on, (not very often to be honest with you) I use this mascara from Kiko (which is an Italian brand). The results are quite impressing!

Lastly, the makeup bag I’ve been using is from Colette. It’s a gorgeous blue colour and is in a cylinder shape. It is a perfect size to put my current favourite products in.

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about the makeup I’ve been using lately. Let me know what you think down below!

The Winter to Spring Transition || OOTD

Boyfriend jeans - Factorie
Rainbow sweater - Billabong
Creepers - Ebay
Shoulder bag - Rusty
Bowler hat - Dotti
Sunnies - Market

I find that the transitions from one season to the next can be exciting but confusing at the same time. I’m always unsure of what to wear, worried that I will end up too hot or too cold. I find that going with your instincts whilst playing it safe is the way to go.

Today was quite a sunny day but there was still quite a cool breeze. So I decided on a pair of boyfriend jeans, a comfy light-weight sweater which kept me warm and I could still roll up the sleeves if the sun decided to come out.
